FOCUS
His arms were stretched out to reach me
But I was too carried away to notice
I was basking in the euphoria of the ephemeral goodies that held me back

Like a switch, these goodies began to claw at my heart
Trying to steal His love from there
Then I came to my senses and from beneath me, I screamed for help

He swiftly came to my side and rescued me
"I don't ever want to leave your side" I said
"Don't let go of my hand" He replied

Hebrews 12: 1-2..."Therefore since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses,let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that easily entangles and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus,the author and finisher of our faith who for the joy set before Him endured the cross
