KEEP MY LOVE
It came as a small package
With one of the most unsightly designs
I scoffed as I rejected it
Priding in the mundane things I had at my disposal

A small package it was
I couldn't tint my image by accepting it,I thought
He kept coming back with the same package
I finally decided to check the content of this package
Hoping He'd let me be at this stage

Then I realised I had been stupid all this while.
Opening the package was worth my while.
The unsightly package had the most beautiful things I had ever seen as it's content.
A mirror to show me my true self, my flawed life,my errors, my sins,
An apparel of grace , and
His love embedded in one word- JESUS

I crumbled to the floor as I wept in realisation
"I'm sorry", I mumbled amidst tears
"Keep my love in your heart", He replied.

I began to ponder this morning on how much God still loves me, inspite of my flaws. I couldn't thank Him enough for Jesus Christ. That spurred this writeup.
      God specializes in loving us. The fact is, because of our sinful natures, not one of us deserves His love. Yet God's love is bestowed on all who admit their need and respond to His love for them. God's love for us is not just an emotion but an actual fact(yeah!!!, very real). God proved His love for us by willingly sending His son (Jesus) to suffer and die . In fact there's nothing in the whole universe that can separate us from God's love!!!( Romans 8:38-39)-please read that
What more could God say to us to make us more secure in His love?
